Thursday Night: Blogging it up, mixed berries and hummus pouch in hand.

Okay so where do I start... We had our Spring Break last week. Each of us went our separate ways--Emily: Florida for synchro training; Hilary to Philly and da south to visit Swarthmore/Hollands, and then me: Alternative Spring Break in K-tucky. Such a great time. Nothing what I expected.

So much Cranks love. My group was seriously Amazinggggg! Our project was with Rural poverty and it was so inspiring to see how much Bobby and Becky the founders of the survival center had accomplished! Becky is sited in 3 books and has a plaque from Jimmy Carter thanking her for all she's done. They also have like 46 grandkids. MY DREAM! We built a room for a 16 year old girl who had just had a stroke who was such a sweetheart, and the family was seriously so optimistic and friendly despite their great poverty and lack of resources! It was just humbling to be around them!

Of course coming back wasn't the most exciting. A crazy week of tests and papers, Yes! But Tuesday Night Mardi Gras Fiesta was something to look forward to! Ohh what a night... and the insanity hasn't even begun... THIS WEEKEND= MY 21ST BIRTHDAY. Ohh now that's ones a whole other blog in itself. Followed by St. Patricks Day! Hell Yeahhhhhhhh!

Let's just say I'm really excited about life right now.
